Who operates this site
Bailiff Advice Centre is a trading style of My Debt Plan Ltd. My Debt Plan Ltd is responsible for the use of cookies and similar technologies described on this page.

Your choices
Analytics and advertising storage are denied when you first visit. They are enabled only if you choose the relevant category. Scrolling or continuing to browse is not treated as consent.
You can accept all categories, reject non-essential categories, or choose analytics and advertising separately. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the site footer.
Withdrawing a category changes the Google consent state and removes the corresponding first-party cookies and local storage that this site can control. The cookie that records your choice remains so that the site can remember the refusal.
Strictly necessary storage
Strictly necessary storage supports security, basic site operation and your cookie choice. It does not require consent and cannot be switched off through the preference panel.

The site may also use short-lived first-party storage needed to complete a function you request, such as submitting an enquiry or carrying a successful submission signal to the confirmation page. This storage is not used to grant analytics or advertising consent.
Analytics
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics can set first-party cookies including _ga and a property-specific cookie such as _ga_34K0MK4ZY0. These help measure visits and which guidance is used.
If analytics is denied, the site does not permit analytics cookies to be set. Google tags may still send a limited cookieless measurement request carrying the denied-consent state. That request may include ordinary technical information needed for an internet request, so it is not described as anonymous.
Advertising measurement
If you allow advertising, Google Ads can use first-party cookies and related browser storage to measure whether an advert led to an enquiry or call. Storage observed on this site includes _gcl_au, other _gcl_ names, _gcl_ls in local storage and a call-conversion cache.
If advertising is denied, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization remain denied. Advertising data in cookieless requests is redacted. An advertising click identifier may be carried in the page address during navigation without being written to analytics or advertising storage.
Rejecting advertising does not necessarily stop all requests to Google. It prevents this site from granting advertising storage and tells Google that consent is denied so limited, cookieless measurement can be modelled.
First-party storage outside these categories
The site can use functional first-party state whose name begins ba- or bac_ for an action the visitor requests. This may include form routing, attribution needed to connect an enquiry with its source, or a short-lived confirmation signal. The site's call-screening step does not set a cookie or use browser storage.
This functional state is separate from Google Analytics and Google Ads storage. It is not used to change your analytics or advertising choice. The Privacy Policy explains the related use of personal and technical information.
Enquiry consent is separate
The cookie preference controls analytics and advertising storage. It is separate from the checkbox used when you ask to be contacted about debt help. Changing cookie settings does not submit an enquiry, withdraw an enquiry or change the contact instructions already given with an enquiry.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking all cookies may prevent the site from remembering your preference and can affect functions you ask to use.
Cookies set on another organisation's domain are controlled by that organisation and your browser. When consent is withdrawn, this site sends the denied state and removes the matching first-party storage it can access.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the site's consent model, measurement tools or storage change materially. A change to the consent categories or what they control will also require the site to ask for a new choice.
